Let it Snow

Here’s another card I make. The layers of color make it interesting. I use blue, silver and purple inks rolled out on platens. Each print is made with different combinations of those colors using a simple square block. Sometimes I print over a square to get a richer color. Then, when everything is dry, I put white snowflakes over the top. It’s a great holiday card, and this year I think I’ll use it for my thank-you notes too.

And here’s a closer view. See what I mean about the layers of color?

Welcome to my blog where I write about the art and craft of my business. My goal is to make beautiful things, to make art part of everyday life, and to make my friends and family smile. Not necessarily in that order.
